The focus of any newborn session should be on your baby’s delicate features, soft skin, and natural beauty—not on overwhelming outfits or props. 1.Keep It Simple and Soft
Babies are most photogenic in neutral, soft, and simple outfits. Think:
Soft cotton onesies
Stretchy wraps or swaddles
Knit rompers
Diaper covers or bloomers
Avoid bold patterns, logos, or clothing with text—these can distract from your baby’s face and won’t age well in photos.
2.Choose Neutral or Pastel Colors
Soft tones like white, cream, beige, blush, or light gray photograph beautifully. They keep the focus on your baby and pair well with any background.
If you prefer a little color, pastel tones like soft sage, dusty blue, or peach are perfect without being overwhelming.
